It’s a tough time globally right now, there’s no other way to say it. Many of us have or will find ourselves spending more time at home, sometimes under very scary and unfortunate circumstances. It’s easy to panic, and there’s a lot of potential fallout to panic about, but I thought I’d counter my own rising anxiety by compiling a list of productive and free things that could be done while stuck at home.

Of course Netflix binges and gaming marathons are also perfectly valid ways to spend the extra time you may find yourself with. However I know for myself at least that doing something productive is a better distraction from worry so here’s a few ideas of how to spend some of that time.

Work on your fitness

Exercise is something that a lot of us aim to do more of, but often don’t. So why not spend a bit of time working out? There are literally millions of workout videos to follow along with on YouTube on different aspects of fitness. Try yoga, learn to dance, get in some HIIT, or anything you’re interested in, really. My personal favourite vlogger to work out with is Blogilates because she’s so very cheerful! Regardless of what you want to focus on and the style of exercise you like you’re bound to find multiple resources…
