It’s Already In The Writing Cooperative

What to do when it’s all been written before

Lately every time I log into Medium to start a new piece or continue work on a draft, I see an article published by The Writing Cooperative in my feed on the exact same topic I’m already working on.

Oh.

But oh well.

Nothing is new under the sun.

Multiple perspectives on the same subject are still valuable. Even different ways of phrasing the same information can be useful. So even if I have to shelve my hopes of having particular articles accepted to that publication, I never shelve the articles themselves. Nothing can be wholly original so all we can do is write it our way.

At least, that’s what I plan on doing.
